Elizabeth Jean Brumfield is currently the Distance Services Librarian and Head of the NWHC Library for the John B. Coleman Library at Prairie View A&M University. Brumfield serves as Chair, of the ALA Office of Diversity Literacy and Outreach Services Advisory Committee and hosts the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Assembly. Published in several peer reviewed journals, including: Journal of Library and Information Service for Distance Learning; Journal of Library Administration and Management; Journal of Librarianship and Information Science; Journal of the American Society for Information Technology; and Multicultural Review. She is PhD candidate in the Educational Leadership program at PVAMU, focusing on the use of emerging technologies and library services.
