A Socio-Technical Digital Preservation Roadmap

The NEH-funded Sustaining MedArt project revealed a labyrinth of socio-technical decisions that confront digital humanities project owners concerned about the sustainability of their work. To assist with the process of producing digital preservation plans, we have produced a “Socio-Technical Roadmap”--a structured workshop inspired by design thinking and collaborative learning approaches.

Digital materials may be subject to many levels of legal restrictions including copying, storage, access, and modification of content. The speaker will provide a brief overview of the legal issues and provide a resource guide for the participants.
