James Williamson
Southern Methodist University
Digital Preservation Librarian
Dallas, Texas
I am the Digital Preservation Librarian at Southern Methodist University. I am a graduate of Louisiana State University with two degrees. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in History in 2009 and a Masters of Library and Information Science in 2011. I currently live in Dallas with my wife Felicia Williamson, Archivist at the Dallas Holocaust Museum. I enjoy the works of famed author Richard Castle, playing ice hockey, and cheering on the bad guys in professional wrestling.
You can talk to me about digitization workflows, practical digital preservation strategies, and (if you feel so inclined) the merits of professional wrestling.
