Joe Hurley is a Data Services and GIS Librarian at Georgia State University Library. His research interests include historical GIS, urban renewal, demographic and built environment change and writes on urban change in Atlanta. He is the PI on the NEH funded Planning Atlanta: A New City in the Making, 1930s – 1990s digital project.
