Tara Carlisle

Digital Scholarship Specialist
Tara Carlisle is Digital Scholarship Specialist at the University of Oklahoma Libraries where she facilitates collaborative research projects in the Digital Scholarship Lab at the Helmerich Collaborative Learning Center. The Digital Scholarship Lab serves as a nucleus for faculty and graduate students to explore innovative ways to conduct research with a range of digital tools for visualizing data, analyzing texts, and leveraging digital collections for research. Previously, Carlisle was Project Development Librarian at the University of North Texas, 2008-2014, where she coordinated digital projects for The Portal to Texas History. Carlisle received a B.A. in Philosophy at Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Information Science and an M.A. in Art History at the University of North Texas.
